A different kind of pilgrimage

Many abbeys in Europe are famed for their breweries. On any given Sunday (particularly if the weather is good) there is a steady caravan of walkers, hikers, Sunday strollers aiming for the abbey kitchens to sample the hearty food and of course, the beer.

Come back tomorrow, please!

Linked to One Word Sunday: Treat.

So I mixed up last Sunday’s prompt and this Sunday’s when I prepared the posts in advance – and the little dog waiting for a treat was showcased under the heading “soon” – which worked. So this primrose, originally titled “soon“, is now a treat – and it will be in a few more days (or rather “will have been” as it is a photo from last spring).

Travel Challenge #10

I was nominated by Teresa  and by Margaret to post one travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. That’s 10 days, 10 travel images, and 10 nominations.

The photos I am going to show in this challenged are from travels around Germany and where chosen to introduce my German language students to various German sites.

Here is my tenth one:

No stress, no nomination. Join in if you want to share your travel memories.
