And yet, there was a reflection.
For Six Word Saturday.

I’ve been fooling around with toys and figures and I tried to combine this little crochet DEATH OF RATS with Terry Pratchett’s “Reaper Man”. It ‘s not a good photo because of the shiny cover and the flash reflecting which is why I stopped on that day.

I’ve already introduced my discovery of Corona Man and his faithful, yet-to-be-named-dog. But I’ve looked through the old toy boxes and found some more to play around with like this ice cream truck:

And there are always 32 mice to play with. Can you spot the exchange student in the back?

This board used to stand in my office at school and one of the teachers had one with frogs so we decided to start an exchange program.

The end of the squares for April. And when all is over, we like to celebrate. Raise your arms to the top! I like the tattoo on the left arm, in old German writing: Alles wird gut – everything will be alright!

Celebrating and dancing.

Not just to dance but to poledance!

Dancing ’till we drop. And once more, from the TOP! After the squares is before the squares!
This is my thirtieth and final square for Becky’s April Square Challenge.

I enjoy flowers. I enjoy gardens.
I do not enjoy gardening nor do I have a green thumb.
But in spring pansies and forget-me-nots are a fast way to fake it.

No question for a cat. Fences are at most obstacles to be traversed.
A bit different with dogs.

And – believe it or not – we humans were the ones behind the fence. And the shepherd at the back of this herd kept shouting: “Close the gate, close the gate! They’ll overrun you!”
“The wide world is all about you: you can fence yourselves in, but you cannot forever fence it out.”

The Black Forest is almost synonymous with dark fir forests but its highest mountain, the Feldberg, is curiously bare. It is the highest mountain in the state of Baden-Württemberg, and the highest in Germany outside of the Alps. It’s the top of the non-Alpine mountain tops, so to speak. And this isn’t even the actual top (but close). I haven’t got pictures of the actual top as 2 years ago, when we had endless, warm, dry days towards the end of summer, we managed to pick the one weekend when it was cold, miserable, foggy, raining and cold. I went to the top (there is a kind of cairn marking it) but I didn’t take my camera because it would have been either drowned or blown away.
This is my twenty-ninth square for Becky’s April Square Challenge.

The value of touch. We took it for granted only a couple of months ago.
