SHEIQUE

Homonym can have the same spelling or the same pronunciation, although the latter are more correctly called homophones.  Homophones are actually my bane when typing.  I often right a homophone and only notice it when I reed it later rather then than their.  There really annoying.  I find it heart to bare and it bothers me that this seams to happen more often lately.  But as a result I no a lot of homophones wright of the bat.

But for One Word Sunday: Homonyms I found too photos in my virtual jest which have 2 homophones combined in won picture.

  • flour – flower
  • sheik – chic
  • write – right
  • read – reed
  • their – there – they’re
  • heart – hard
  • bear – bare
  • seams – seems
  • know –  no
  • right – wright
  • chest – jest
  • one – won

After Debbie’s guy with facial hair issues, I present a guy with a different set of issues, a lot less hairy, though.

I’ve bought these a week or so ago. I’ve been dreading it but I think I will have to use them soon.  I will have to cut my own hair, at least the fringe/bangs.  I am at that stage where they start curling inwards just in height with my eyes.  Blindness will follow soon.  But I’ve decided to practice on my husband first!

This is my tenth top square for Becky’s April Square Challenge.

I’ve used photos from the exhibition and from the demonstration at the National Glass Centre quite a few times for photo challenges – I thought I add a bit of information this time.  The glass blowing demonstration is a truly wonderful and informative presentation.  Unfortunately, just a few weeks ago I heard that one of the presenters, the talented man on the right, has passed away.  So I want to add this photo as a tribute to his talent and skill.
