In the direction of the wind

I can make out the words “IN THE DIRECTION OF THE WIND” and “IN RICHTUNG DES WINDES” and I think I can see the name “JANA” but not a last name.  The mural is on the campus of the university of Lüneburg, Germany.

More murals can be found on Monday Murals.

What’s in a pot?

23 potty (640x480)

I see this window sill regularly from the school parking lot where I teach. Occasionally, the ashtray is emptied, then it gets filled again. Occasionally, the strainer is a different colour. But the pot always seem to stay the same. I wonder what’s in it.

One Word Sunday from the Travel with Intent blog was asking for potty pictures.  More of these can be found here.

The first two photos are of a giant tortoise, the next ones of two yellow-bellied sliders (a land and water turtle). I only noticed the spider on the underside of the jaw when I had the enlarged photo on my pc screen.

This is for Black & White Sunday: texture. You will find more photos for this challenge here.

Thursday’s Special is another “pick a word” challenge.  I’ve managed to distribute the five words (sagacious – non-human – portrayal – remains – stellar) into two photos.  More interpretation of the given words can be found here.
