I like bananas, I really do. But not as much as this odd monkey who can be admired daily at the Viktualienmarkt in Munich.

A collage made of the colours honey and grey. The object of the collage is a drawing of a huntsman (a traditional motif from the area) decorating a house. The huntsman is depicted in several poses, with or without his horse, but I couldn’t take a photo of any of the complete scenes because of a tree in front. So a collage seemed the obvious solution.

I found this in front of a church. I’m not sure what to think about it.

Burn, winter, burn!
The annual burning of a large snowman symbolizing winter in my hometown.

My entry for Cee’s Oddball challenge this week: an odd collection of earrings, displayed on a kitchen grater.

Cee is asking for “tongues and tails” for her black & white challenge. I’m not sure if anyone expected to find both in one picture – least of all me – but there it was.

This challenge is to post a photo or two that you think viewers might be not be able to identify.
Can you guess? The first two are easy – but they were such fun to take (and yes, I needed to clean my lense afterwards).
Here is the solution to the easy one: yes, a bunny – though not mine.

If you need a clue: still “animal” – kind of.

It’s part of an insect hotel – a construction to provide shelter for insects. Here is the whole thing:

Another clue – it also has to do with an animal.

You know cowbells in Switzerland? Well, in India the elephant cows have bells, too.

Nope. No animal in sight in this last one.

It’s a lampshade.
