For this post, I chose one word of the five on offer. These are the Bernese Alps and on the Schynige Platte, the mountain on which we spent our first night, there is a garden of alpine flowers.

This is a dairy farm in the mountains of the Kleinwalsertal between Austria and Germany. Old buildings but modern equipment for milking the cows. The title is a quote from Groucho Marx – I couldn’t resist using it here.
