I came across this “park of sculptures” in summer. It is basically an abandoned plot of land with a variety of sculptures from two or three artists littered around. One of the central pieces carries the words “to be or not art is the answer” (yes, equally scrambled in German). I thought it was exactly right for today’s challenge.

Art comes from the head the heart and the hand. MW + PAW Seen in the Kurpark Bad König im Odenwald.
The Ragtag Daily Prompt: Art.

I don’t know if that was an art installation or just a yard where an art installation was being prepared or stored. It looked out of place and hidden at the same time.

I have no idea what this is supposed to be or who did it or why. Found it standing in the front yard of an apartment building in the centre of Frankfurt.

Definitely NOT beautiful. This figure, I think, belongs to a shop selling surplus army supplies.

Somewhere in Swabia I came upon a bump next to the road with this primeval looking monster on top. I suppose it is meant as art although there was no plaque to identify either the artist or the title of the piece. I just accepted it for what it is: a giant ant.

This is a photo from Schynege Platte in the Berner Oberland, Switzerland. The guy in front can actually look down on Lake Brienz, so it is not just mountains.
