The people of Darmstadt put their first Grand Duke on a really high pole. A really long one. They loved him so much that instead of calling him by his official name Ludewig I they call him “Langer Lui” (Long Louis) still today.
Here is slightly closer look of Lui.

The Weschnitz is a smallish river that flows from the Odenwald to the Rhine over a distance of less than 60km. It is believed that it was named after a Celtic and Gallo-Roman river god called Visucius.
The waterfall near Mörlenbach is not a large one but it makes for a good stop on a cycling tour.
None of the photos have been enhanced (or de-hanced?) colourwise. I tweaked the contrast a bit and I cropped the photos. But they came out naturally monochrome, even the sepia one, and the last wheels were taken in poor light, against a desaturated sky.
Three working wheels in an old mill.
A tricycle driving over a wavy light installation.
Three wheels above a train line.
