Cee’s series of things found in nature over at Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge is looking for … alone. More photos, alone but not lonely, can be found here.

against my crow –

against my grass –

against my window! (sorry, Tina)

sunrise,

sunset,

swiftly flow the days.

For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. Lyrics from Fiddler on the Roof, of course.
More sunny (or not) photos can be found here.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge has a nature cycle going on and this week it is leaves or trees.
More of these can be found here.

A common old garden snail (served on an autumn leave).

A baby fire salamander chilling in its nursery pond.

A pollen-feeding beetle not feeding on pollen. Well, it is also known as a false-blister beetle.

A common dung beetle wanting to sound more glamourous: Oh, look! A scarab.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge is running a series of challenges with the theme of nature. This week it’s wildlife photography. More wild lives can be found here.

Fluff ball or robin?

Two stalkers.

Proudly crowing and modestly clucking.
For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge with the subject of birds. More feathered creatures can be found here.

Those skis might not be much good on a piste anymore but they make great decorations.

Another wooden X – it is the top of a birdhouse made of the thick part of palm fronds, currently used as the centre piece of a small nativity scene.

X marks the spot – in this case, the very spot were covenanters were hanged for their protestant faith in Edinburgh’s grassmarket area in the 17th century. The memorial features a red version of the St Andrew’s cross.
Cee’s alphabet quest has reached the letter X. Other photographers interpretations of X (in word or picture) can be found here:

This is for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: needs to start with V and have at least 6 letters.
