This is our Christmas manger, made from odds and ends. It started out with salt dough figurines which I dressed in meaningful scraps, like a piece of leather from a jacket an aunt gave me, an embossed hair ornament I bought when I was 15 in the South of France, a handkerchief which was a present from a friend, and so on but then there were things added which I found in the souqs of Saudi Arabia. Then the children added animals they found and decorated with shiny bits and pieces.

The Cosmic Photo Challenge: Show Us Your Christmas
.
.
What happened to Santa Claus? Something was wrong with this Christmas
and it was getting worse and worse …
But what can’t be cured must be endured! Or in German: Close your eyes and go for it!!
Got some help in,
and with proper supervision
we got through it.
But remember: He who laughs last lasts longest. (NB: Cee 🙂 )
