We were at the zoo over the weekend. The brightest animals were the flamingoes.


For the PPA Challenge I photographed a few kitchen gadgets. This is Tom, the tea bag holder.


Every day I am passing the local cemetery on my way to and from school, and every day I sneak a peek over the wall and there are four different colouring watering cans hanging next to the tap.




And then, the orchids are flowering.

The most graceful arch I could come up with.



It’s not the most impressive monument or building but the bridge dates back to the Romans and it had some strategic value to them as even small rivers and rivulets have to be crossed if an army is on the move.

The front of the gatehouse of the 9th-century Imperial Abbey of Lorsch in Germany. It’s one of few completely preserved buildings from the Carolingian area and is a UNESCO heritage site.
