The Wetterhorn
Every mountain in the Bernese Alps seems to be more colossal than the next. This particular one is the Wetterhorn, the Hausberg of Grindelwald that’s the mountain closest associated with the town, it’s practically on the doorstep.

The Odenwald Klub is an organisation which promotes and maintains trails all over this low mountain range.
This is only a small selection, posted on the tower on top of the Tromm with 576 m above sealevel amongst the highest elevations in the Odenwald.

He Had Set His Claws on Stun
When I tried to lift up this seemingly deceased victim of my cat it came back to life and flew out of the open doorways in the garden.
I was stunned. The dragonfly was stunning.

Springtime Seminar
It was in 2019 when I went to the last in person seminar. After teaching German to functionally illiterate learners for over three years I had to take a course on how to teach functionally illiterate learners German. The seminar was in Böblingen, south of Stuttgart, over three consecutive weekends.
It was spring and the weather was beautiful on the first Saturday.
In the centre of Böblingen is a lake and I took the lunchbreak to go for a walk.
I don’t remember much about the seminar but that spring day is still present in my mind.
