This is a typical clinker house built around 100 years ago from our area and are typical for the time, two toned bricks and the windows framed with sandstone. That’s a house in the town centre of Bad Tölz. Like most houses here it is beautifully maintained. It has a cute little dormer, the windows are set-off by paintings and it has painted and raised stone panels running up the facade. Looking up reveals a painted, maybe even tiled border in the overhang of the roof. The difficulty in photographing a house like this is caused by the narrow streets which makes it difficult to get a shot of of the whole house. Furthermore, being in a group and not being able to really set up a shot results in cut off corners and weird angles. But here it is.
