I am normally reluctant to rob flowers of their colours but monochrome draws the viewer to observe the shape and of course, they have so much to offer in this regard as well.

Fun with flowers (not flags)
Was it “fun AND flowers” or “fun OR flowers”? This little guy was busy working the flower but it looked like fun.
BTW: These are two different shots though I cannot tell by comparing them.

No nightshade
The Daily Post asked for unusual photos, what I perceive as unusual.
I very seldom use flashlight when I take pictures but the other day I snapped these in our garden and I quite like the effect, particularly of the spiky seed capsule of a nigella flower (Schwarzkümmel). Maybe I’ll try a few more in the coming weeks.
