In 2010 I saw Fool’s Garden live. The occasion was a Uriah Heep concert, organised by a company celebrating their 100th anniversary (Alpina, Ober-Ramstadt). Fool’s Garden had one world–wide hit, Lemon Tree. And this one line immediately resonated in my head when I heard today’s prompt:
Incidentally, Fool’s Garden addressed the one-hit-wonder phenomenon at this concert. Do they mind that they are always asked to play this one song? Do they get sick of playing Lemon Tree? They would probably not be able to work and live comfortably as fulltime musicians for the rest of their lives.

But I’ve always been an earring woman. It’s the one piece of jewellery I never leave the house without it; in fact, I feel decidedly naked if I do forget it like once in a blue moon.
