After falling off my bike I haven’t been out much (except for work) and my camera has mostly stayed in its bag. But I’ve been back in the saddle for a couple of days now and yesterday on my way from the dentist (only a check-up) I made a detour and I came across this meadow with about 200 geese – being fattened up for St Martin’s and Christmas … thinking about it like this is kind of depressing.

This group of teenage gosslings caught my eye yesterday. They’re obviously siblings and haven’t yet learned to scare others away when there is food around.
