A German wedding tradition: the couple gets some mock work to do (with a few handicaps thrown in, like the bound up hands, and possibly a blindfold, too) and they have to hit the nails on the head. The effort is real enough – will it foretell how well they will work together in their joint future?

On an outing this weekend we came upon this charming scene, two decorators preparing a glade for a wedding.
We couldn’t wait for the ceremony to begin but it seemed like an enchanted place to celebrate a wedding – Covid appropriate: in the open.
