Modern Times

Traditionally, bears would hibernate in caves when the weather got chill, but modern bears prefer chilling in the comfort of a cosy living room. Here is an additional photo of Wagner (that’s the bear’s name) arriving at his new address: Ragtag Daily Prompt: Chill

At least, I Have Central Heating

The Ragtag prompt today, was a Scottish word, oorie. I had to look it up (and I feel reassured by the fact that some native English speakers had to, as well) and the Collins Dictionary defines it as “gloomy, dismal, or chilled with cold” – the addendum “Scottish” is almost unnecessary, don’t you think.

I immediately thought of this photo, which I took a few years ago.

Chilly?

Rather!

We not only had snow but it is rather cold enough to stay and instead of turning into a mushy slush it crunches when you walk on it. Chilly it is but also rather lovely.
