Strawberries and asparagus are grown in our area and in spring the fields teem with seasonal workers. Part of their payment is in-kind, i.e. they get accommodation, transport from and to their home country, and sometimes food instead of some of their salary.

We were at the German Dragon Museum yesterday. This dragon like creature called Harry lives there amongst all the exhibits and when there are children the museum people take Harry out and he is fed a few choice crickets. Pogonas must be kindred to dragons, don’t you think?
