The five water filters – called Pelikan – on our local excavated lake are working day in, day out, and even at night. Because it is an artificial lake the filters are needed to ensure the water quality, particularly the oxygen content. Water, Water Everywhere

I have no idea what this is. I could imagine that it is the frogs and toads preparing for the winter season. It kind of looks like a miniture fir, doesn’t it? Water, Water Everywhere
I thought of this photo first when I read the prompt. Liquid gold. Sunset over our small lake.
But then … I thought of the glass blowers at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland.
