My Last on the Card this month is Cee’s fault and her On the Hunt for Joy Challenge. – I kept playing with my food and when I reached the point that I was playing with chewing gum, I stopped.

After falling off my bike I haven’t been out much (except for work) and my camera has mostly stayed in its bag. But I’ve been back in the saddle for a couple of days now and yesterday on my way from the dentist (only a check-up) I made a detour and I came across this meadow with about 200 geese – being fattened up for St Martin’s and Christmas … thinking about it like this is kind of depressing.

Years of listening to Joe Cocker didn’t have any effect.
When I showed my husband this photo he immediately exclaimed: “Oh, that’s were I left it! I’ve already been looking for it.” — Now we have to plan another visit to our friends to fetch the hat. It’s only 50 km away …
A few hours earlier we were out with the grandchildren. I left my camera and my phone on the table and later that night I found this last photo on my phone (which I very seldom use to take photos):

The following photo is not the last on my memory card of my camera (that’s the hat one above) but it is the equivalent to the last photo on the mobile phone, so it deserves a place here:

PS: I also found a video on my camera with this commentary: “Here is slide. Let’s see how it looks when like I slide. I hope you won’t break, little camera …” Luckily, these were not “famous last words”.
Added fun fact 😀 : I just showed my husband this blog entry and he immediately exclaimed: “Oh, that’s were I left it! I’ve already been looking for it.” — Now we have to plan another visit to our friends to fetch the hat. It’s only 50 km away …

I was sorely tempted to cheat this time. I’d been out with my bike, caught some wonderful flowers with bees, then on my way home I came past this underbridge – train tracks next to the small country lane and the autobahn overhead with some interesting graffiti. When I was just packing up a freight train went past and I got the engine and some wagons and that was the end of it.

The weather was beautiful and I was on an outing with my bike and my camera. On my way home, I stopped when I saw these allium christophii. They are commonly known as stars of Persia. This was my parting shot but I took loads.

I’ve been fooling around with toys and figures and I tried to combine this little crochet DEATH OF RATS with Terry Pratchett’s “Reaper Man”. It ‘s not a good photo because of the shiny cover and the flash reflecting which is why I stopped on that day.

That’s the last photo on my SC card for March. A parting shot of the magnolia tree in our back yard before turning in for the day.
It was planted seven years ago and is going from strength to strength.
That’s vor Bushboy’s Last on the Card.
