The dragon got shafted – literally and figuratively.
All those depiction of St George thrusting his shaft into the dragon and killing him and that dragon is never bigger than a medium sized crocodile. How could such a small creature create such devastation?
The story got misconstrued to make St George into a hero. But marble statues don’t lie!!!

Monochrome Madness
Last on the SD card in my camera: Johnny, the neighbours’ cat eying me from under the table.
Last on the SD card in my cell phone: the wall of the neighbours – it was practically glowing in the setting son.
And yet, they did. In the middle of a meadow. It’s just a wall. About 10 metres long, 2.5 metres high. No other structure around. So I guess it’s fair game for sprayers. And the taggers who just spray without artistic intention at least appreciated the panda and his dream of bamboo and let it be.
