Sweat and photos

I rarely go out on a recreational ride without my camera (I also use my bicycle for commuting and going to the shops, that doesn’t count here, though). I manage around 2000km per year and the last time I took a photo of my odometer was a “Schnapszahl”, five ones. While I am at it I also take photos of my trusted steed, Wynona Rider, but she looks better if I crouch down a bit with gras in the foreground.

She also looks good from above.

This tower in the distance has been my destination a few times since it was built about five years ago. I could take the car but it is in range of Wynona and me.

Once there I had to leave her to climb up.

And this is one of the views 192 steps or 577+34 metres up.

And now for something completely different. To get photos of wild beasts in the bush or gardening experts checking on the local plants – you have to go down, creeking knees and all.

Two shots of Ned Flanders from the Simpsons that show the difference between bending down and going really low.

The Imperfect Limerick

They were sunbathing near our local lake.Everything was real, nothing was fake. The beer was flowing. The bellies were showing.Nobody was bothered that they were nake-d. Laughing Along with a Limerick: Fake

With a little help from my friends

I chose to get the help of my minikins as well as Ned Flanders of The Simpsons‘ fame.

Can you find Ned in the photo on the left? It is a question of scale as well as a question of perspective.

My little photographer companion is always on hand to lecture me. In this case on perspective and scale AND depth. The mouse squeaked in to help, as well.

And here are the minikins making a similar argument.
