“High-wire forest adventure course” is the highfalutin name for a rope climbing course in the woods. It seems to be more fun when the leaves are out for the actual active people. For the photographers on the ground the leaves make taking pictures much more difficult. Finding the right people in a sea of green for starters.

A fool’s hope?
This is another one of those painted pebbles that appeared around the local lake during COVID time. Small messages when it was difficult to communicate. For a while the pandemic brought us together by keeping us apart.
I wonder, though, if being hopeful was justified? The pandemic went away. This one, at least. The virus has remained but seems tamed (for the moment). I remember when this dog was young and freshly come from an abusive situation. He’s calmed down tremendously since then.
Upper Rhine Plain
We live “right of the Rhine”, aka on the eastern side of the Rhine, at the place where the hills meet the plain. The plain stretches about 350km from northern Switzerland to about Frankfurt am Main. It’s about 50km wide. So when I look due west I can see several smaller towns, two cities (Mannheim and Ludwigshafen) until the hills of the Pfälzer Wald which border the plain on the western side.
Is it sgraffito or not?
The opinions differ. Maybe it’s a combination of sgraffito and painting, I’m not a specialist. But it’s definitely patterned.

I saw something moving in the lake
I took the pictures despite the turbid water not hoping for much. Two clicks in photoscape and I could identify that the fish were perch. Ragtag Daily Prompt: Turbid
