The idea to go on a bicycle ride to the public pool, that is. FOWC with Fandango: Quashed
I’m certain that it will rain again, hopefully rather sooner than later.
When we see the clouds rolling in,
when we see the rain coming near,
then we get ready for the big downpour:
These were taken during a hailstorm in March this year.
Some weather might drive you to drink but not everybody is so blatant about it.

On our drive back from the Czech Republic we had a mixture of rain and clouds and then when we were back in Baden-Württemberg it all of a sudden started to rain so hard that we had to stop on the side of the road because it was too dangerous to go on driving. It only lasted about five minutes and after another couple of minutes the sun came out. The roads were still wet but we kept going because by that time we were hungry.

The Ragtag Daily Prompt: Rain
“Rain and wind, and wind and rain. Will the Summer come again? Rain on houses, on the street, Wetting all the people’s feet, Though they run with might and main. Rain and wind, and wind and rain.” Katherine Mansfield, Winter Song

Wet grass. It’s easy to forget how important water is.

Like when driving home in pouring rain and just looking forward to getting out of the wet clothes and snuggling down in a warm, dry place.

But sometimes we crave water. This was on the hottest day of that year, after having spent four or five hours in a school PE hall, on the way back to their accommodation. these guys saw a man watering his garden and begged for a cool down. They enjoyed getting wet so much!
