It’s interesting to note that “liber” means book and free in Latin, with a slightly different pronunciation. My books are free and move between shelves all the time. Buttons used to be the thing. Today … not so much (Nö!).
Interesting aside (interesting for people interested in language, that is): Button is “Knopf” in German but these buttons are called … drumroll … “Buttons”.

It wasn’t exactly a home movie, it was the film project of a drama student in 1981. We used to shoot our films in Super 8 and they looked like home movies most of the time. I remember I did a stop-motion something, foreshadowing my experiments with minikins, but of so little note that even I don’t remember much about it let alone have a copy.
I do remember more about the project of a fellow student in which I had a minor part. I played the unfaithful girlfriend of a young soldier, discovered in bed with the new conquest. Since we didn’t have sound the situation was conveyed by having a picture of me and the boyfriend on the nightstand prominently displayed. That’s the photo above.
