Red Graffiti and Art

This anxious looking guy stared at me everytime I took the elevator up to the tenth floor (and coming down) of the student accommodation in Prague where we stayed last weekend. It was a really old and beat up and his face did not inspire confidence in me.

But his redeeming feature is his colour, he is drawn in red and that gave way to me looking through my old pics for red graffiti:

  • A red imp? Red goblin? Blood drop with feelers?
  • Rebel of love.
  • Owlish stencil art.
  • Holding a handkerchief (tatü).
  • Freestyle blind by choice guy.
  • Freestyle fire power.
  • Snoopy and Woodstock have to stay out of their red dog house.
  • The red waste basket.

A Tradition Since 1988

Red Dress Runs are one of the highlights in the calendar of the Hash House Harriers. The rules are simple: a) There are no rules. b) Wear a red dress. Some of the guys stick to a red t-shirt but others will go all the way. I cut off a few heads or blurred faces to protect the not-so-innocent.

Red Dress Runs are traditionally fund raisers for charity ever since the first Red Dress Run in San Diego in 1988.
Often special t-shirts are produced for the event.
A red dress is not enough for some – the real wow is in the detail.

Rosehip Red

Rosehips not only provide tea and jam but also bright red colour in autumn.

And in winter some forgotten hips can look decidedly stunning.

But even the ones that were harvested keep their red colour and can be spread out.
