Or possibly it’s a rook or a crow or a corbie.

Like many outdoor sculptures this raven was not easy to photograph as one has little influence on the background if the bird stands in the middle of a private garden.

  • Lots and lots of backlighting added.
  • A change of the colour tint.
  • The area around the head left untouched, the rest of the photo changed to impressionist dabbing.
  • Similar effect, except that the surrounds are deliberately made grainy.
