Pony in German means fringe (or bangs, in American English).
This fat little pony even has a pony tail (that’s on the other side of the beast).

Tails can be vary practical. For balancing (in Henry’s case), and as a fifth arm and hand (as in the case of this brown spider monkey). However, occasionally, a tail just gets in the way: FOWC with Fandango: Tail


Now I know that cattail really means something else, and this is rather a cat’s tail, but how could I not?
