or bicycle perspective?
For the final square for July, I thought I’ll go for a selfie of sorts. It is a reflection of myself (a flattering one at that as the street mirror elongated me just a smidgen) and self-reflection is always a good start to get a new perception of the world.

One of my favourite perspectives these days: behind the handlebars.
And rather than only showing you more perspectives of my bicycle I give you some SERIOUS handlebars:

e.g. behind another photographer.
Becky has quoted Ansel Adams for today’s square perspective (which I did inadvertently only last week without knowing that Adams had said it before me – and countless others, I’m sure – because it is such a truism).

It took me almost the whole month of July to find out that my photo editing program has a button called “perspective” with which you can tilt a picture.

The town on the left side of the river Rhine is called Worms which should explain the title. It used to be just one bridge (the right one) but traffic between the state of Hesse and the Palatium had become so much that they added the left one a few years ago and made each a one way bridge. I’ve just read that the older bridge dating back to 1953 has to be replaced in the next few years as renovation is not possible. However, only the part that actually crosses the water needs to be replaced, the new bridge will fit seamlessly with the old parts on either end. A perspective to look forward to.
