It was rather late and already dusky and the crane was too far away for my lense.  So these photos are not brilliant but I thought the sequence is worth sharing, nevertheless. Whether the supper was a (rather large) mouse or a vole or some other furry creature I don’t know but he swallowed it in one go.  And what are you having for supper?

Newsflash: I’ve been told that the supper consisted of a young hedgehog.
