Built in Forchheim in Frankonia in 1612. Also from Forchheim, a bit younger. And another one from the 18th century, from Bad Soden. Geometric Square #29
Weekend Sky
Not many ghost towns in densely populated central Europe but lots of old ruined castles for ghosts to haunt. This particular one is Burg Königstein to the west of Frankfurt am Main.

My walking companion and I lost the rest of the group as well as the trail markings. When we saw this muddy path in front of us we decided to turn around and find a better way.
We turned into this path and ended up with the others again. But – the muddy path was the right way, we learned.
PS: Our shoes were the cleanest.
