Aye, there’s the Nub!
NUB stands for Neckaruferbebauung Nord. It consists of three highrise residential building with terraced buildings in front and several school buildings, on the northern banks of the river Neckar in Mannheim.

Too Slow
Those three birds (crows I think) were coming so fast overhead that all I got was this shot. At the time I thought: “Threes! Thursday Trios!” but swooshhhhhhhhhhhh and they were gone. I still like the photo in a weird kind of way.
Weekend Sky
Three of a kind – or is it 4?
The light was queer and I just clicked quickly to snap the three herons flying past. Since most of the storks (but not all) have left, there are more herons in the field. Yesterday I counted five. Anyway, only on the computer screen did I see the spec on the upper left side and realised there was another kind of flyer in the air.
