Still Constant Is a Wonderous Excellence
The bard on constancy and finding it excellent. This picture of William Shakespeare was seen in his hometown, Stratford-upon-Avon. He likeness is everywhere, a very constant feature. I wonder if he was thinking of his love for icecream though. Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge: Excellent

This Glutton
Be like the ant in summer days

Found on the walls of the Red Mosque in the palace gardens of the Schwetzinger Schloss. Since summer is short or in Shakespeares’ words:
“Summer’s lease hath all too short a date.”
be like the busy ant, go milk those aphids, gather the honeydew, and store it for winter. Coz’ winter is coming.

Alternatively, you can also stop and smell the roses.
