A Monday Window for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. This Monday I showed off the windows in the fences and walls of the zoo of Worms. The zoo is inclusive and these windows allow small children and visitors in wheelchairs to see into enclosures. This goat was particularly obliging and posed for me.
The flooding during the last weeks have reminded me when we were in Düsseldorf on the banks of the river Rhine a few years ago. The banks were overflown then but the waters didn’t reach dangerous levels.
Last week was grandson visiting time and we went for an excursion with our bike, taking the train first and then cycling back. It’s not a great photo by any means but it was the beginning of a wonderful day.
We also went to the zoo in Heidelberg.
There were three elephants
and a large number of flamingoes – but these three were obliging to pose for Thursday Trios.
Be they alive in a zoo in terrariums
or in the wild, even the fake ones,
or if it’s just their likeness.

This is an old one, found on the side of a house inside the Heidelberg zoo, advertising the local beer and obviously, with a zoo theme.
