I proposed to my school to cancel classes due to the weather warning – the roads will be icy due to low temperatures in combination with a light drizzle. I then proceeded to cancel my own class on my own accord.

Thank you kindly. (the weather warning was a hugh hype, though, as they have often been in the last few years; at least in our area there was no ice, no drizzle even. But with hindsight it is always easier and to be honest, I’m at at the tailend of a cold, so another day at home without straining my voice, was ultimately a good decision).
