Four years ago we were in the UK for the Rugby World Cup. After the match between South Africa vs Scotland we were making our way from Newcastle to Edinburgh and stopping for a look see on Holy Island. Now I am sitting at my desk and my husband is watching the Ireland vs Scotland game on the other pc – Japan is just a little too far (and a little too expensive).

The Rugby World Cup seems to come round much more frequently than every four years 😂. It’s on in our house too … Holy Island is a haven of tranquility. Just far enough away from the mainland. We have spent many happy hours there.

At least RWC is only every four years, but with the annual Six Nations for the Northern and the Rugby Championship for the Southern hemisphere, I had my fill. Then the husband started to discover Sevens … it’s still less than football/soccer and I rather watch rugby anyhow. 😀

I understand exactly! We have just finished the Cricket too! And today it’s the Grand Prix! Oh yes, and the cycling … I went for a walk!!

🙂 Rugby, football, cricket in our household only. And in that order.
