Maybe somebody can help me: I was about to answer to a comment when Henry (the cat) walked over my keyboard. And the comment was trashed. — I used to be able to un-trash comments but I don’t seem to find the function anymore. Any ideas what I could do? (I’m putting this under a few pages hoping that somebody can help me). [I tried help but no help came…]

Not sure, but there should be something in your Admin dashboard? Aside from that, I really love the first shot. So atmospheric 🙂 🙂

Thank you, it was in an old mill (water run) – not quite a museum but with a room dedicated to how it used to be. (I searched up and down in admin and didn’t find it, I really wanted to reply (it was on my blog about teaching refugees) and don’t want to appear rude

Jo is right it is in the dashboard – you can either use the old style version or the new one. Click on comments and then at the top there should be a list running across the screen and trash usually comes after spam.

That’s what I thought – but it is gone. I have also lost google news. Maps is still there, translate, mail, calendar … but news is gone and I cannot retrieve the icon anywhere (even the resident computer expert is puzzled). Same with “trashed”, it’s just nowhere to be found. 😦 But thanks for looking it up for me.

well that’s just bizarre. WordPress is definitely playing up this month, I think because they are making lots of changes

And now it’s back (after I wanted to edit a comment on my own). But of course, by now the trashed comment has disappeared into the ether … I guess it’s cleared after a day. *sigh*
