Not at all stupid. And no – I wish I knew how to do this to other pics – but this is an art installation in a town called Schwetzingen in Germany. It is to commemorate the victims of German national socialism, it is called “Spiegel der Geschichte” (Reflecion of History). The silhouettes of the figures have outlines that are vaguely old-fashioned and some carry luggage. It is fascinating but I always have a bit of a bad conscience when I use a photo of it without reference to its intended meaning.
Clever stuff! And a vocabulary lesson too…
