The Citroën 2CV is known in Germany and Austria as Ente ( = duck). It was built between 1948 and 1988 and if you have ever driven one, you will never forget it. The typical pistol grip stick shift baffles modern drivers even if they are familiar with ordinary manual gearshifts.
On the rear window of this one it says:
Ceci n’est pas une voiture – c’est un art de vivre.
This is not a car – it’s a way of life.
Only one thing left to say:

For Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Anything to do with cars and trucks.

Oh what fun photos you have for this week. Thanks for playing along 😀

And it’s a sure fire way of getting car-sick. Not recommended for passengers!

But that was the fun of it 😀 Rocking from side to side to make the car drive on two wheels only… (ahh! youth!!)

I think they’re great … so long as I don’t have to hitch a ride…

Ich weiß 🙂 Und irgendwann (ich glaube, da war Karl dabei) war ich drin, als die geschaukelt wurde. Ich war irgendwo zwischen Angst und Faszination.

I may only sit in this even an experienced Ente driver is driving it up as I’m a non-stick driver 🙂

Awesome, we had a 2CV when my dad was stationed in Germany in the early 70s; it was called Brog 😃
