    1. It was done to accomodate storks’ nests – which was successful. After years of hardly a pair visiting in summer, there are now well over twenty storks. The trees still have growing branches and leaves below the nests and would have had to be felled completely if they weren’t cropped, as I understand.

      1. Wow, there’s a lot of storks in there. Where are these beautiful birds in the world if you don’t mind me asking. I know they just started nesting on the Norfolk broads close to where I am in the Uk. .

      2. Ahh, Germany. Beautiful country. I almsot went on a Rhine river tour holiday once. But the tour company went bust. Never got the chance after that. Maybe one day soon though.

      3. Yup, ,governments will realise its no use stopping people soon. This virus is a new flu and its going to be permanent so we just have to get on with it.
