A poisonous wart on his nose

I revisited the Gruffalo sculpture. One passes the mouse and the Gruffalo when walking up to the castle ruin Windeck in Weinheim.

Here are some more pictures and a short explanation about this sculpture.

    1. After I read your remark I thought a bit more information would not go amiss. I made other posts about the sculpture: from last Monday (I’m a fan of…) https://https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/09/14/with-terrible-claws-and-terrible-teeth/ and last year for Six Word Saturday: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2019/09/14/with-terrible-claws-and-terrible-teeth/ and in February this year for “Color your World”: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2020/02/18/golden-rod-mouse/ I’m sure I’ll go back again.

    1. But who is this creature? With terrible claws
And terrible teeth in his terrible jaws?
He has knobbly knees and turned out toes
And a poisonous wart at the end of this nose.
His eyes are orange. His tongue is black.
He has purple prickles all over his back.
Oh help, oh no. It’s a gruffalo.
