Yeah do seem less intelligent than other breeds don’t they. The typical great big daft dog! They also like chewing arms in a controlling not painful way if you allow them! Still great dogs though.
Wonderful. Apart from fallow deer the only creatures I can think of with marked backbones are donkeys (marked with a cross in fact, in memory of Jesus riding on a donkey on Palm Sunday apparently)

Such a beautifully done margin on that back. How cool. I think only the Rhodesian Ridgeback dog comes close to this. Great photos.

I suppose so. The animals live in a large enclosure and it was the height of summer (not a recent pic).

I saw a show once with sloths…they were covered in ticks it was so gross!
