I never thought I’d have orchids, let alone so many. I’ve learned that the right place with the right light is most important to them. And so I am running out of space along their favourite window bank.
All my orchids are rescue orchids. A neighbour in our house discards them as soon as they have shed their first blooms and crams them in the communal garbage bins. I take them out, put them in nice pots and look after them. In turn they reward me with the most glorious blooms about twice a year.
Lovely photos Elke. I’m a fan to but don’t have my mothers knack. Where the few I have would do OK is a small place where other plants have already found it was there spot too 🙂 🙂
