Yep, the builder had a problem. No room for a shutter on the other side due that stone. But thinking like an engineer, I would have made the one shutter a folding one. Looking at the photo the shadow for that one seems bigger than the shadows of the shutters on the other window. Could it be? Thank you for this neat photo!

I think it was rather a design flaw. There is this stone to the left that’s in the way.
