Not personally, we were well away on the Arabian Peninsula. But it did come close to my hometown (where I live again now). And one could see path the cyclone had taken for a long time because the trees were just missing.

That why I find this area called “Lotharpfad” (Lothar trail) such an interesting place. All around they’ve cleared up the tree and planted new ones etc. but here that just left everything as is. There are paths through the area but on stilts so that there is little damage by visitors.
