Just drove by there twice, going to and coming back from California. It’s not at all attractive but as there’s nothing else there, I guess it doesn’t matter. What bothers me most is that these enormous things aren’t recyclable!!
Yes, the non-recycling is a problem. However, as someone who lives within less than 50km of two nuclear power plants (one now no longer in operation) and not so far away from nuclear power stations in France I’d rather take my chances with wind power than with nuclear power. These days choices often boil down to the least problematic alternatives.
Clever to use both wind as in blow and wind as in turbines wind 🙂 🙂

I had to google – I had no idea about the windmills in Palm Springs. 😮 Here they put up 2 or 3 and then the people start complaining.
