I thought they would more conform to “violets” being more blue than red. But as I’ve mentioned to Jude – we only have one word for both shades in German so I’m not feeling too sure of myself here.
I was ging to say exactly the same as Margaret.
And I’m equally confused by purple and violet – two words, but for me it’s only a scientific differentiation in the meaning, the words are pretty much interchangeable for me.
