




This old farmhouse which stands in the middle of a small village is about to be renovated. The house has been gutted and they’ve already renewed the roof as you can see in the first photo. I’ll watch out for it over the next months.

Although it’s a bit sad, I do love a distressed window or two.

It’s a really old, run-down building, I think it’s been empty for years – yet not so old as to have antique status. I am surprised that they are keeping and renovating it, rather than building from fresh. It must be structurally sound and worth keeping, I’m sure it’s not cheaper to renovate.

I do love distressed windows too, but only to take photos … these windows definitely need a makeover.
