I can only think of today’s prompt in connection with a cup of coffee for a reason. Our bean-to-cup coffee machine has unfortunately given up and we are looking for an new one after almost ten years. I still remember coffee being ground in old coffee grinders before being brewed, now the machine does it for me, ceramically.

Ooh, I hope you tell us when you find the replacement. I’m still old schooling it with the grinder then spilling freshly ground coffee when I transfer it.

Since bean-to-cup agrees much better with my stomach than filter coffee we switched years ago.

We love our Xelsis, but it’s a pricey beast (makes amazing, and fancy, coffees though)

I’ve never heard Xelsis as a brand – quickly checked and it sells as Saeco/Philipps in Germany. Our old one is a Saeco, too! 😃

Still way too hot here in my town for coffee. Chilled sodas and shakes are still in these days 🙂
